R Kelly and the continuing trial of sex with minors

R Kelly is still going threw it with the trial of the decade. Where he gave new charges in his sex abuse and having cranial knowledge of a minor.

It is unbelievable how this man has gotten away from charges this long with abusing the trust of his fan base by going after teenage girls for so long. I feel that the justice system have failed these children and there parents for having a super star get away with abusing the trust of his fans .But you have to ask yourself where were these kids parents at and why did they let such things go on for so long?

The sister that helped R Kelly out of jail with a 100,000 dollar bond is now asking for her money back and the court as well as the judge said no to me Love to regain and collect her money for bailing out R Kelly.News report say that R Kelly jump bail and was on the run for a while we’re law enforcement caught up with the star and arrested him and that is why Ms Love lost the bail money she put up to free the super star singer.

R Kelly is one of the biggest singer of our time and probably could have been a legend in music history along side people like Micheal Jackson and Witney Houston but all people are going to remember about R Kelly is the teenage sex abuse and the lives this man destroyed for so long,it is a shame!

R Kelly produced and sang songs like i “I believe I can fly” a song that have been heard in churches all over the United States and beyond.

We do not know how long Kelly trial is going to be or if he might get off or what but this story in my thoughts is bigger then the OJ trial with so many families and lives this man changed for ever.

It is become clear that our super star singers are being allowed to carrying on with there sick fantasies for a time until law enforcement seems to think it time for there sick fantasies to come to an end.For black people it seems like a payment do for the honor to become rich and famous in the music industry. It like a shaming they have to go threw when there contract with the Devil is up.

There is no doubt in my mind there is a sickness in the music industry where they allow such things to happen like what Rkelly is accused of doing .

Mean while Rkelly is reported to be broke and radio stations are taken his music out of there line up by mass with out the man being convicted of any crime yet, unspecified you ask me!!!!I

R Kelly is being held in jail and his property is being auctioned off. If he he convicted of these crimes it is a good chance that Rkelly may never see the light of day again.

Hasbro toy company now owns Death Row Records

Death Row Records, the iconic record label founded in 1991 by Suge Knight, The D.O.C., and Dr. Dre, has changed ownership. At its peak, the record label once signed iconic rappers like Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg, but after its heyday the record label became embroiled in controversies, lawsuits, and the imprisonment of co-founder Suge Knight. Death Row Records filed for bankruptcy in 2006 and was quickly picked up by an entertainment agency. But the record label’s ownership has changed hands: It is now owned by the Hasbro, the worldwide toy and board game company.

The deal followed Hasbro’s acquisition of Entertainment One, which it just attained in a deal for $4 billion, according to Deadline. Hasbro’s most popular games and toys are the well-known Monopoly, G.I. Joe, Transformers, and My Little Pony. They were interested in the deal in order to gain the rights to Entertainment One’s brands like Peppa Pig, but they also ended up with the Death Row catalog as part of the purchase.

Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner said he’s looking forward to furthering their family-oriented brand. “The acquisition of eOne adds beloved story-led global family brands that deliver strong operating returns to Hasbro’s portfolio and provides a pipeline of new brand creation driven by family-oriented storytelling, which will now include Hasbro’s IP,” he said. Clearly, Goldner wasn’t talking about Dr.

Death Row has changed ownership several times since filing for bankruptcy in 2006. The first company to pick up the record label was WIDEawake Entertainment, who later sold the label to Entertainment One for 15 times the price. The Game, Joe Budden, and DJ Khaled have all released music with Entertainment One, but their masters now belong with the toy company Hasbro.

KODAK BLACK PLEADS GUILTY IN FEDERAL GUN CASE

Kodak Black

11:42 AM PT — According to the plea agreement — obtained by TMZ — prosecutors say they’ll push for a lighter sentence than the maximum because Kodak has been cooperative.

11:28 AM PT — Kodak pled guilty to 2 counts of knowingly making a false and fictitious written statement in connection with the acquisition of a firearm. He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison followed by 3 years of supervised release.

The rapper just did about face and plead guilty for lying on his government gun licence saying that he did not have a case pending for a crime that can land him in jail for more than one year. The rapper confess to the crime of knowingly lying on his government application for a gun.

It amazing how Hip-Hop has drop to such a low to hav people like Kodak Black and 69 at the top of the charts when they are known to brake the law in such away that they did

If you will remember 69 gun arrest that send him to prison. This just a long line of people that is in the rap industry that cannot control there action and do not relies they ar no longer in the streets fighting for there lives. You have to ask yourselves why don’t these people get body guards if he would have thought of that and he makes millions in the rap industry it should be easy to get a body guard ,right? I mean he would not have to get that gun that land him in jail for 10 years and that exacly what he got from a judge for pleading guilty for falsely saying he did not have no charges against the rapper..

The Kodak Black has been in jail since may because the judge have ruled that Kodak Black was a danger to the community, His sentencing is coming in Sept13 but his lawyer said that he might get 10 years

Can these rappers today tell the deference between being in the streets and there conduct they should have when you make it out of the streets. The greatest of rappers know this but these new rappers seem not to understand the difference and make a beautiful thing like Hip- Hop in to something that need to be thrown in the trash when it really should not be that way because Hip Hop has taken over the world. But in my heart i do believe they are trying to put an end to Hip Hop by implementing people like 69 and Kodak Black into the mainstream Hip Hop Culture,

The charge that Kodak Black lied for on his application for a gun was when he beat up an under age female and those charges are still pending

Free At Last, Free At Last: Remy Ma Celebrates Officially Being Off Probation

The New York rapper serving a five-year parole term after she was released from prison in 2014, after having spent six years in prison for a 2007 shooting.

Papoose reportedly shared a video to his Instagram showing the couple getting loose on a yacht celebrating Remy’s freedom.

Pap wrote “And they lived happily ever after!!!! #blacklove Off papers The #queen,”

Its good to see Remy get this behind her, if you recall Remy Ma was arrested back in May for allegedly getting in a fight with Love and Hip Hop: New York star Brittney Taylor. Taylor stated that Remy attacked her, and she had to go to the hospital to get medical attention leading Remy to be charged with misdemeanor assault.

Guilty Or Not, A$AP Rocky Will Never Go Back To Sweden

TMZ reports, “Rocky left Sweden hours after the judges in his assault case decided to let him out of jail while they noodle on their decision, which is expected on August 14. A$AP returned to the U.S., and he won’t have to return for the reading of the verdict, because it will be a written ruling.”

More than likely he will be acquitted but TMZ says he “Rocky will never go back to the home of IKEA.”

NBC News also reports that the U.S. threatened Sweden with “negative consequences” if the rapper wasn’t released. The U.S. special presidential envoy for hostage affairs wrote to Swedish prosecutors, “The government of the United States of America wants to resolve this case as soon as possible to avoid potentially negative consequences to the U.S.-Swedish bilateral relationship.”

Sweden’s prosecutor-general, Petra Lundh, denied the demand, writing in a letter, “No other prosecutor, not even I, may interfere with a specific case or try to affect the prosecutor responsible.”

It’s not clear if the U.S. had anything to do with Rocky’s release, even though Trump will surely take full credit.

Earlier this week, according to a local media outlet in Sweden, prosecutor Daniel Suneson claims police have the entire video of the incident and “Now we gotta fuck this (inaudible)” is heard being said. There is also a surveillance camera from a restaurant that allegedly contradicts what Rocky posted on social media. You can watch the video, here

Rocky had been on a European tour when the fight broke out with local media blaming the rapper. The very next day TMZ published the video of the fight, which purportedly showed Rocky and two people in his entourage fighting against one other person. It also showed several men accused of Rocky and his crew of breaking a pair of headphones.

Jussie Smollett is ARRESTED after he ‘faked a racist attack and then lied to police about it’ 2/21/2019

Empire actor Jussie Smollett has been arrested in Chicago after he allegedly faked a racist attack and then lied to police about it.

Smollett has already vowed to fight charges of filing a fake police report, insisting the attack was genuine.

The 36-year-old claimed that two MAGA hat-wearing men attacked him as he walked home on January 29 while shouting racist and homophobic language.

He said the pair hit him, threw bleach in his face and placed a noose around his neck before running away.

Police have since arrested Nigerian brothers Ola and Abel Osundairo for committing the crime, but believe they were paid to do so by Smollett in a bizarre bid to boost his fame.

Officers are also thought to be investigating whether a letter which Smollett received a week before the attack was also faked.

The note had MAGA written on the front and contained cut-out magazine words reading ‘you will die black f*g’ along with a hand-drawn image of a man with a gun to his head.

It also contained a white powder that turned out to be crushed aspirin.

Police sources believe Smollett staged the racist attack when the letter failed to garner enough attention.

Michael Avenatti Says He Has New Tape Of R. Kelly Sexually Assaulting 14-Year-Old Girl

Though it reportedly appears the girl actively participated in the sex acts, she would have been unable to give legal consent at 14

Attorney Michael Avenatti on Thursday claimed he has given a videotape to prosecutors that he said shows musician R. Kelly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl.

The high-profile attorney said in a statement that he recently recovered a previously undisclosed VHS tape of the singer, whose given name is Robert Kelly, engaging in multiple sexual assaults of the girl.

“The tape, which is clear, is approximately 45 minutes in length and has never previously been publicly disclosed or, until recently, provided to law enforcement,” Avenatti said in his statement.

Avenatti told HuffPost that the tape was recorded in Chicago in the late 1990s, when Kelly would have been in his late 20s or early 30s. The timing of the sexual acts allegedly seen in the video falls within the relevant Illinois statute of limitations, he said in his statement.

CNN, which viewed the video, said the tape appears to show Kelly engaged in multiple sex acts with a girl who repeatedly refers to what she calls her “14-year-old” body parts. CNN’s description of the video suggests the girl appeared to be actively participating in the sexual acts.

Nevertheless, if the girl was 14 at the time, the incident may amount to sexual assault or statutory rape. The age of legal consent in Illinois is 17.

Avenatti provided additional details about the video’s alleged content in a statement later on Thursday, claiming that Kelly can be seen engaging in oral, anal and vaginal sex with the girl in two different rooms on two different days.

“Mr. Kelly and the young victim are both clearly visible throughout the tape as is an identifying mole on the mid to low back of Mr. Kelly on his left side,” Avenatti wrote. “Critically, Mr. Kelly and the victim also verbally refer to the girl as only being 14 on multiple occasions on the video,” he added.

Kelly’s attorney Steve Greenberg said in a statement that he wasn’t aware of Avenatti’s allegations until Thursday.

“I have not been contacted by anyone connected with law enforcement, nor has R Kelly,” Greenberg said in his statement. “Mr. Kelly denies that he has engaged in any illegal conduct, of any kind whatsoever.”

Avenatti is representing three individuals in connection with sexual abuse allegations against Kelly, including victims and witnesses, he told HuffPost. He said he gave the tape to Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx.A representative for the prosecutor’s office told HuffPost that they cannot confirm or deny an investigation.

The description of the tape sounds similar to a video that surfaced in 2002, which reportedly showed Kelly sexually assaulting an underage girl. The 2002 video allegedly showed Kelly urinating on the girl, as does, according to CNN, the tape Avenatti turned over to prosecutors. Kelly was acquitted of charges related to the 2002 incident six years later.

In 2017, BuzzFeed News published an explosive report alleging that Kelly operated an abusive sex cult. The shocking accusations of abuse and sexual assault made headlines again recently with the release of the Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly,” which interviewed several women who say they were abused by the musician.

This story has been updated with Greenberg’s comments and additional comments from Avenatti.

Lady Gaga Defends ‘Brave’ Cardi B After Grammy Backlash: ‘You Deserve Awards’

Count Lady Gaga in the Cardi B camp after the rapper drew backlash over her Grammy win.

Both of them walked away with trophies at the 61st annual Grammy Awards on Sunday night; Cardi B even made history, becoming the first solo woman to win Best Rap Album ― but only the hip-hop superstar had to defend her win for some reason after some online critics labeled her undeserving.

Gaga apparently caught wind of the controversy and showed her support for the rapper on Tuesday with a heartfelt post, praising her “brave” fellow Grammy winner.

“It is so hard to be a woman in this industry. What it takes, how hard we work through the disrespectful challenges, just to make art,” the “A Star Is Born” actress wrote. “I love you Cardi. You deserve your awards. Let’s celebrate her fight. Lift her up & honor her. She is brave.”

After years of their fans clamoring for the two music icons to join forces, they met at the awards show and shared a sweet moment together.

Gaga posted a silly video of herself celebrating her Grammy and BAFTA wins by dancing backstage to Cardi B’s Grammy-nominated hit “I l Like It” off her album “Invasion of Privacy,” which refers to the pop star by name.

Cardi B’s night, unfortunately, didn’t end as smoothly, with the rapper deactivating her Instagram page after posting an impassioned video of herself defending her Grammy win.

“You know what? It’s not my style for people to put other people down to uplift somebody else. That’s not my style, and that’s not what I’m with, and I don’t support that. However, I’ve been taking a lot of shit today,” she says in the video. “I’m seeing a lot of bullshit today, and I saw a lot of shit last night, and I’m sick of this shit. I work hard for my motherfucking album.”

She beat out fellow nominees Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T, Travis Scott and the late Mac Miller for the prestigious award.

Fortunately, Gaga wasn’t the only one to show Cardi some love over the weekend, with Chance the Rapper, who is featured on “Invasion of Privacy,” calling her win “overly deserved.”

“It would be inconceivable not to honor u last night,” he wrote in the comments of a now-deleted post. “Straight up bask in it YOU deserve it. Its a feeling very few will ever know, but YOU do.”

Cardi B Becomes First Solo Woman To Win Grammy Award For Best Rap Album

he Grammys like Cardi B and she likes it like that.

The Bronx-born rapper made history at the 2019 Grammy Awards on Sunday night by picking up the trophy for Best Rap Album, becoming the first solo female rapper to do so in the category’s 20-plus year history. Lauryn Hill won as a member of the hip-hop group Fugees in 1997.

It’s not like Cardi B even needed the award given how she’d already shut down the red carpet in a vintage couture gown, followed by a show-stopping performance of her new single “Money.” But nothing could compare to the raw emotion she showed in her acceptance speech.

Besting fellow nominees Nipsey Hussle, Pusha T, Travis Scott and the late Mac Miller, the clearly shocked rapper took the stage to deliver a peak Cardi speech.

“The nerves are so bad. Maybe I need to start smoking weed,” Cardi said through the tears, while husband and rapper Offset stood by her side. “I just want to say thank you to everybody that was involved.”

She went onto thank daughter Kulture and touched on her fears surrounding giving birth shortly after dropping the album.

“I’m not just saying thank you because she’s my daughter. It’s because, you know, when I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete, like three songs that I was for sure having,” she said on stage. “And then you know, you know how it was, we was like, we have to get this album done so I could still do videos while I’m still not showing. And it was very long nights.”

Heading into the evening, Cardi B was nominated for seven awards across major categories, including Album of The Year and Record of the Year for her chart-topping single, “I Like It.”

Portland Police Sergeant To Precinct: If A Homeless Person Is Black, Just Shoot Them

A Portland police officer heads down the street while looking for a man who is alleged to have pulled a handgun on a Portland State University security officer when the officer approached him and another man in Portland, Ore., Monday, June 11, 2012. Sgt. Gregg Lewis was fired last year for reportedly making several racist comments to his precinct in Portland, Oregon. Lewis’ comments were not publicly shared until this week when his termination letter was released by the Portland mayor’s office.

Lewis told about 20 other cops during a roll call meeting on Feb. 12, 2017, that if they come across a black homeless person to “just shoot them,” according to many meeting participants who were quoted in the letter obtained by Oregon Live.

Lewis made the remarks during a meeting with fellow officers in which he was leading a presentation about an officer’s authority to handle an intoxicated citizen who is in a private parking garage. Multiple officers who were in the room reported Lewis the next day, and many of their accounts are cited in the termination letter.

According to one account, the room went silent after Lewis’ comment. There was some nervous laughter in the room and another officer said “Oh my god!” Lewis reportedly “laughed, threw his hands in the air and said, ‘Fuck it. What do I care?’”

The reports made by several officers were all slightly different. One officer recalled Lewis saying, “Go out and shoot black people,” while another remembered him saying the remark with slight variations: “If they’re black and homeless shoot them or kill them.”

Earlier in the presentation, Lewis reportedly told officers to “be smart” about whom they chose to “detox” in parking garages.

“If you come across a guy in a suit and tie that came downtown and had a little too much to drink … he’s probably not the guy you want to detox straight out of the garage. He will most likely sue you,” Lewis said, according to the accounts cited in his termination letter, which is dated Jan. 12, 2018. “If it’s a homeless guy, you will probably be safe. I doubt he’s going to sue you.”

Lewis made the comments just days after an unarmed black teenager named Quanice Hayes was shot and killed in Portland by fellow police officer Andrew Hearst. Police mistook Hayes for a suspect in an armed robbery and Hearst shot him three times. Hearst told a grand jury that he saw Hayes had a gun and he was protecting himself. It was later revealed that Hayes had a toy gun, which the cops only found after Hayes was shot dead. Hearst was cleared of any wrongdoing.

In response to the complaints against him, Lewis told investigators that he has a “habit of sometimes being a little sarcastic,” according to the letter, and he does not discriminate against people based on their race. He also apologized and admitted that he now realizes his comments are inappropriate.

City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty released a statement Wednesday commenting on Lewis’ remarks.

“This person sworn to protect us made clear that he views certain types of people expendable in our society. I thank his fellow officers for reporting this heinous comment and elevating it as a punishable offense,” she said. “What Mr. Lewis said makes my stomach turn.”

Lewis, who has been with the Portland Police since 1991 and briefly retired for a month in 2016, was fired in early February 2018, a year after his initial comments. His remarks are only being made public now because the police union filed a grievance that could possibly overturn Lewis’ firing, discussion of which spurred the mayor to comply with an open records request.

Since city officials believe there is a good chance Lewis’ firing could be overturned, they have proposed a settlement that would give Lewis back pay of about $100,000 and consider him to be retired. Under this settlement, he would also receive pension throughout retirement.

Commissioner Amanda Fritz said in a Wednesday council chambers meeting that she felt “personally ill” with the terms of the settlement, but her highest priority is to ensure Lewis never serves as a police officer again.Subscribe to the Black Voices email.Amplifying black voices through news that matters.

“The most important thing is to get rid of this person on the police force, and to make absolutely certain he can never wear the officers, the police officer’s uniform, never carry a Portland police gun, never be out in our community, and this settlement is the only way we can make sure this happens,” she said.

Commissioner Chloe Eudaly added in the same meeting: “None of us are happy with this outcome. This is an imperfect solution made within a flawed system.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine Plead guilty

Tekashi 6ix9ine pleads guiltry of robbing people even killing people and setting up people.

What is going on in the rap game that this man had everything that he would throw everything away like this. To become a rap artist you suppose to leave that alone once you get famous . But this man kept going it like he was still in the street. Now he is about to take the walk of shame. 69 is going to do alot of time behind these charges and it is going to be a long time till he sees the light of day again.

Fat Joe warned this man to get out of the streets but this man had alot of elements around him stearing him in the wrong direction. That is what happens when you spend to much time in the hood, Growing up when i got to the age that i can think for myself i came up out of the streets and tried to make something out of my life. This man done that and more and just threw it all away.

The Feds was on 69 for years and he did not know gather a case on 69. Soon as the trial came up and when the FEDS threw all this at him he decided to plead guilty on all charges just not to spent the rest of his life in jail.

It is sad to see anyone that came out of poverty and get his or her name out there and make alot of money just to see them throw it away like that. But you have some stupid idiots who think there still in the street destroy there life and they had everything that a young kid in can ever want.

69 reminds me of the rap legend DMX only DMX did not go down like this idiot.

What is happening to rap music? They used to just talk about doing crime to they are doing crime because you are trying to keep it real. You suppose to leave that life and ever person that is about that life and elevate yourself to superstar status. I fear for Hip-Hop not to long ago a governor was talking about doing away with the culture all together because of the violent material it conveys. But if we have a few move of DMX’S 69’s iam wondering could they be right about doing so?

This man have ratted out so many of his gang friends you have to wonder if 69 will even survive his term in jail with that no snitch thang they have in the hood.

69 girl friend at this time is fearing for her life because she believes 69 blood gang might come after her. Its is totally nuts what is going on around this man. But he will do alot of time for setting people up and guns as well as murder

Cardi B And Offset Getting Back Together Has DESTROYED Twitter And Sparked A Petty Civil War

Offset And Cardi B Reunite

Well, well, well. It looks like this finally happened. After months of tumultuous relationship drama including a divorce, begging for rekindling, cheating allegations, reunions, d*** appointments and jet skis, Cardi and Offset are finally back at it.

TMZ is reporting that the two have decided to get back together, but under one provision: Offset changes his phone number and swears off the groupies. That’s, um, something. Twitter, of course, had its two cents to offer and none of it was nice. At all. It was just as petty and confused as you’d imagine.

Jussie Smollett: Neighbor Gives Very Specific Account Of “Redneck” With Rope Loitering Near Apartment

Neighbor Witnessed Suspicious Man Outside Jussie Smollett Apartment

The racist and homophobic attack on Jussie Smollett outside his Chicago apartment building is still being fleshed out and today we have new details that will hopefully lead to an arrest.

According to TMZ, Jussie’s neighbor says she witnessed a man who looked like a “redneck” hanging out near the building entrance an hour and a half prior to the incident. The unidentified woman says in VERY specific detail exactly who she saw, what they were wearing, and what they were doing.

The woman — who asked us not to use her name — tells TMZ, she walked out of the building at 12:30 AM Tuesday to take her dogs out and saw the man near the door, pacing between the parking garage and entrance, looking agitated and smoking a cigarette. She says, “He looked out of place.” He was a white man with scruff on his face wearing a blue winter beanie, a blue zip-up sweatshirt with a hood and blue jeans that were too short, exposing “thick, grey hunting socks” with camel-colored dress shoes.

The neighbor also says that there was a rope or clothesline made from white and blue material hanging from underneath the man’s sweatshirt. This man was said to be staring intently on another man near the front door of the building.

When the witness neighbor awoke to go to the gym around 4am, she saw the security and was told that Jussie had been attacked. She relayed what she had seen and was told to call detectives.

Chicago PD still has not found footage of the attack but they are investigating all leads. Hopefully this neighbor’s account helps in that effort.
